State Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Corporation Ltd (StatePharma) is a fully state-owned entity established with the primary objective of strengthening the supply and procurement of medicines, medical consumables, and equipment across the country.
StatePharma was established to ensure the efficient procurement and nationwide supply of medicines, medical consumables, and medical equipment across the Maldives. Our mandate includes the management of logistics necessary to enable delivery to all islands, in support of a strong and reliable national healthcare system.
StatePharma's role also includes working with government hospitals and health centres in relation to medical equipment management, maintenance, and related training, as well as supporting informed planning through national-level demand assessment and recordkeeping. In addition, StatePharma is responsible for establishing and operating safe, compliant storage and warehousing facilities to ensure the proper handling of imported medicines.
